Fluid Web Deployment allows for two types of navigation controls or sublayouts right out-of-the-box. The default navigation sublayout is what is referred to as Basic Site Navigation. This sublayout gives a simple hierarchical representation of the site structure with standard popup menus when top level items are hovered over. The other navigation sublayout is the Responsive Mega Menu Navigation sublayout. This sublayout displays the top level site items as any other navigation control would, but when these top level items are hovered over, custom Rich HTML menus can be displayed with virtually any type of HTML content inside of them.

Basic Site Navigation

The Basic Site (Standard) Navigation sublayout simply displays the top level site structure in a standardized menu with popup menus that display the second level menu items. There are several different configuration settings that allow for some customization of the basic site navigation control right out-of-the-box. Further customizations can also be developed and added if necessary.

Mega Menu Navigation

The Mega Menu Navigation sublayout is perfect for creating unique menus by using one of the 9 jQuery effects and one of the color schemes that are available, or by creating custom color schemes.

Based on a custom grid, this menu allows you to organize your content into columns (from 1 up to 12) with a lot of typography examples such as headings, lists, images styling, tables, form elements, etc.
